Durlet was established in 1966 with the vision of being a furniture manufacturer who would do things differently, by applying a number of at that time unwavering principles: working with external, acclaimed designers; creating their own brand identity; focusing on producing products of the highest quality in terms of both finish and materials; and keeping in mind the need for comfort and ergonomics. By remaining true to these principles, our reputation has spread from our base in Izegem, Belgium, throughout the country and abroad. Remaining proud of the strengths of our origins, but with a far-reaching view of the world. High quality textiles and the best grades of leather, sourced from the most respected tanneries in Europe, are transformed into unique seating furniture with Belgian craftsmanship. They are of course still designed by acclaimed designers, and each piece is individually made to order for our customers.
