The broad back- and armrests are finished on the fronts with a special folded seam. The greatest detail of the design is the base in which, when viewed from the front, the slanted lines of the armrests continue, and which puts the sofa on a socle from the sides. It is constructed from beautifully, discretely glossy black chromed steel. Nevada is available as a sofa as well as in modular elements, with special attention for the (diagonal) corner and combination modules.

Designer, Frans Schrofer, was born in the Netherlands and comes from a long line of artists, craftsmen and teachers spanning many generations. A childhood fascination with cars and motor racing led Frans to an early basic education in electrical and mechanical engineering, and auto mechanics. In 1983 he graduated from the Design Academy Eindhoven and in 1984, he established his design firm, Studio Schrofer.
